Krupa Ge lives and writes in Chennai. She is the author of two novels Burns Boy, and What We Know About Her (2021). Her nonfiction work, Rivers Remember (2019), examines the impact of the devastating 2015 Chennai floods, weaving together personal, social and environmental narratives.

In 2024, Zubaan published Ramachandran Usha’s Tamil novella Karai Thedum Odangal, as Unmoored, in Krupa’s translation.

She collaborated with musician and Sangita Kalanidhi awardee, Sanjay Subrahmanyan on his memoir, On That Note (Westland Books, 2024).

Her work, spanning reportage and cultural commentary, has appeared in Indian and international publications for 17 years.
